Keys Found!!!

As I was driving home, I felt this lump on the inside of my knee underneath my wetsuit. Sure enough, the keys had fallen inside the wetsuit much farther than I would have thought. Thanks to everyone who helped look for them in the leaves at Canoe City. This will be another hard one to live down LOL:1:

Great day.

So glad you found your Keys JP! I have a similar story with my wallet at the Buckaloons trip this year so won’t be able to harass you to bad. What a great day today. Thank you everyone!

"Keys in the Leaves" contest?

We could start a new tradition at the Chilly Chili event...

Someone drops their car keys in the deep wet leaves and members have an hour to kick the leaves around trying to find them. --IF-- they are found, JP will offer a "reward" present. --IF NOT-- JP will drive them home.

Sounds like fun!

What a great chilly chili paddle. Temps were in the upper 30's and the water level was over 7ft at the Leavittsburg gauge.
With the higher levels we did the trip from swift park down to canoe city.
We started with 13 boats (4 Canoes & 9 Kayaks) with a total 16 paddlers.
We had a nice and easy current and when we hit the RT 82 Bridge we had a nice surprise of meeting up with Jeff and his Nephew making it 5 canoe's with 18 paddlers.
Once we got back to canoe city we had the news there and they did a nice story.
After warming up and eating all the goodies we had our meeting with a total of 25 members.
I am excited to welcome Monica from Mentor Ohio to the club.

Thank you to everyone who brought food and helped setup and take down of the event.
Special thanks to Zack Zvett for allowing us to use the park and "not" have a fire ;)
Also to Jessica's dad for letting me borrow his generator to keep the pots of chili warm.
Thanks again for a great event

Great day with great friends
Mike
