2022 Picnic
2022 Club Picnic
Saturday, July 30th - 2:00 PM Pymatuning State Park (PA) – Espyville Launch 23531 S Lake Rd, Linesville, PA 16424 This year, we are trying something a little different. We are hosting a water safety class, in cooperation with the DCNR park rangers. The safety class will be from 9am-1pm. After the class, we will have our yearly summer picnic. And, we have reserved the group site (#8) through the weekend, so folks can set up their tents and enjoy nature. As always, the club will provide hotdogs, hamburgers, plates, napkins, and plastic ware. As usual, members should bring their own beverages. We are asking members to please bring a side dish and / or desert to share. An additional grill or two could be helpful, depending on attendance. As the picnic winds-up, we typically use this get-together to have one of our club meetings, as required by our charter. Please bring your fresh ideas to help keep our club afloat. . . . . See what I did there? PLEASE start to RSVP under this post so we can plan food and supplies accordingly. |

Working on details
Hello, still working on the details. It would be nice to just launch from camp and paddle but Burt Martin tells me that the Islands around lines like are a lot of fun to paddle around. I would like to paddle around the islands but that would require driving there. I’m open to either.

I'm planning to make the meeting and picnic if possible. I won't be able to attend the safety class, even though it sounds like something we all could use. Anything that refreshes our safety knowledge and makes us more aware can only be a benefit to us all.

Just digging into the posts a little deeper and I'm a little confused. Is the club meeting and picnic on Saturday the 30th or on Sunday the 31st?
|
Saturday, right after the safety class.

Me and Ralph will be there

Great Picnic!
Many, many thanks to Mark and Jodi Vallecorsa for organizing the annual club picnic and to the numerous club members who pitched in to help. It was a great picnic at a beautiful setting on Pymatuning Lake, and it was nice to see so many club members come out for it. It's a lot of work to pull this off, and Mark and Jodi do it all with good cheer. Thank you again!

Nice location
Great picnic, thanks to all that put it together.

I just want to thank everyone for pitching-in at the picnic. We had a great turn-out, which meant a great variety of food. This was a wonderful location, and it was great to be able to incorporate a safety class into the day. My thanks to Mike, Steve, and Stan for bringing their grills, and to all the grill masters who lent a hand cooking. With all of the grills, we had all the food ready in record time. And of course my thanks to the "Second Lady" of TCTC, my wife Jodi.

Thank you Mark & Jodi
All that practice the last 2 years at Buckaloons have made you guys camp food masters! Thanks for all your hard work. It was amazing. The instructors where not going to stay for food but we talked them into. Once they were done eating they said “you guys over did yourselves, this food was amazing”. They are right and you guys are amazing!
