This will be our second year going to Sue?s place for the Moon Light Paddle.

Between 6 & 9 pm we will do a Pot Luck Dinner. Bring a favorite dish for or a favorite dessert. No set time to eat more like a buffet style of meal with a camp fire and time to relax and enjoy great company with paddling stories of years past.

About 9:30 we will head to the lake and do a Paddle on Lake Milton and head south were the lake turns back into the Mahoning River. We will paddle as far as we like and some will attempt to make it to the Berlin Dam, and turn around and head back to Sue?s.

About a five mile paddle is what to expect if you go all the way to the Berlin Dam and back

I will be Bring some Pizza from Pizza Joe?s.

I'm also making a pot of sauce so we'll have pasta and sauce too. I'll be there by 5 so feel free to come whenever you want. You might want to bring a chair- I have about 10 but not sure that'll be enough. Also, mosquitos are BAD so you may want to bring some bug spray

I have to work early Saturday morning, so we probably won't roll onto the lake for the moonlight paddle, but are planning to come out anyways, and probably go out on the lake right when we get there, then catch-up with everybody at Sue's after we paddle a bit. If anybody else is interested in a not-so-moonlight paddle, give a shout.

Sue,
I'm planning to be there.

Sue, I plan on coming.

Sue, Thank You

Sue, Thanks for your hospitality Friday evening. There was lots of good food and you sure picked a perfect summer evening to sit out in the yard by a fire.

It was also a perfect evening to be out on the water after sunset. Warm air currents and smooth water made for a nice paddle. The round trip up river to the shallow rocks near the dam is a 6 mile round trip.

Thanks, Sue!

Many thanks to Sue and Steve Ramdin for opening their Lake Milton home to us for the club's annual moonlight run. What a pleasant and enjoyable evening it was for sitting around the fire, feasting on delicious food, swapping paddling lies, and, once the clouds departed, paddling through some gorgeous moonlight.
