Hillsville Launch Vandalism
 

The following was posted on the Mahoning River Paddling and Restoration Group's Facebook page on Sunday, August 24:

"So did B&O to Hillsville. The river was perfect. The dam removal is a sight to see. They did an amazing job. Whole day was perfect....until...
At the Hillsville launch someone cut the lights and took the push bar off my friends jeep along with his cool fake dear skull (plastic)while we were out.
Its deplorable and it makes it difficult to bring new people out to see what the river is when ones property is not safe. This is the second time I've had issues at this launch and I do not think we will use it again."
