I send this out with a very heavy heart.
Since I have joined the club I have had the privilege of paddling with so many people from all walks of life. Along the way many of our members have had friends that join them. Some may call them pets, but others call them man's best friend.

Over the years TCT has been blessed to have man's best friend join us on trips. From Chuck Miller and his dogs, to Jeff Chicase and Jake, Debra Witowski and Crash (John Paul has a good story on the Grand River with Crash), & Jessica Hoffart and Tori.

I was informed on 5-3-19 that Matt Brady lost one of his paddling friends Rogue.
If you were in the club from 2011 to 2014 you would remember Rogue and always being with Matt in his Red Mad River Canoe or being towed on her own Paddle Board while Matt surfs some waves; to riding on the back of a kayak.

Rogue saw more and done more than most people will ever do in a life time. Besides being a paddle doggy and chasing Geese she hiked the Appalachian trail with Matt.

Matt & Rogue had to move away and still made trips up from Virginia in recent years to paddle at Foxburg or on the Mahoning River. Matt Currently lives in his home town of Washingtonville New York. You can reach Matt at

Matt I just want to say thank you to you and Rogue for so many great memories.

Mike
