T-shirts for River Fest
 

I just had a thought,( I have several thought attacks a day) what about some t-shirts for the River Fest? We discussed different ways to use club money at our last meeting. Using money for shuttle service was not a popular idea, buying a chainsaw was. I'd like to see if the club would spring for at least half the cost of matching shirts for everyone working the fest. I think this would make us look like a more cohesive group and people would know who we are for questions and such. We may have to hold an officers meeting to approve money if people think this is a good idea.

I would like to see shirts with left chest emblems as we have done in past, and have the design that is on our banner / flag silk screened onto the backs. It would be more prominent, for just such occasions. I'm OK with the 50/50 idea for those working the event; and have them available to all - even those not going to be there - at full cost. I like ideas that help advertise the club, and in turn, promote the mission of the club, by possibly attracting more folks to the rivers and paddling. I probably know a couple folks that could create such shirts.

Great idea! Would be good for advertising for the club, could possibly draw interest and attracted new members. I don't remember, but does TCTC sign up members at the event!

I can order shirts as soon as I get the ok from Mike. I'm going with silkscreen logo on the back, one color, and a chest patch that says River Fest Crew. Because of the late order date I don't have a lot of time to get a list of who going and what size. I'm thinking 16 shirts, 6 med, 6 lg, 4 xl. If you are working the event and need smaller or larger let me know soon. I have until the end of the week to put final order in. The cost is only about $12/per. You will pay your half when you pick up your shirt at Riverfest.

I need 2 xl and one xxl shirts

A slight change in style for the shirts as suggested by shirt shop. A full color 10x10 logo on the back, no print on the front in order to keep cost down. The shirt is a light yellow 50/50 blend and the cost is 13 per. XXL a little more.
Now I hope it doesn't rain and whole thing gets cancelled and I'm stuck with 20 shirts!!!

No you wouldn't be stuck we would get it taken care of :)

The shirts are done, and Patty will pick them up and bring them to River Fest. I am going to round up to $7 per shirt for persons working the fest. PLEASE have exact change for shirts!! If you must write a check, make it out to Trumbull Canoe Trails.
And just as a side note, when did we add club to our name?? It's TCT, not TCTC as far as I'm concerned. Makes us sound like we are connected with the Trumbull County Technical College!!!

There are a few Xtra shirts if anyone is interested; I believe they are mostly large. They will be available June 9 at the paddle. See Sue or Patty
