KenM RSVP=no
I did have some interest in this trip but will not be able to make it. Way too many things going on and stuff stacking up on the weekend. Why has June gotten so crowded this year?
This does look like a great time to explore the lower Clarion with the dam hydo releases not operating due to repair work. Sounds like this may be going on for a year or two. River is now (almost) flowing free. I propose that ALL TCT members retire so we can do mid-week trips! Ken |

Lisa and I got to talk with the ladies at river fest about the club. We are very new to the sport and got the entry level kayaks and paddles. We would love to come to one of the trips soon. We will be planning the camping trips also.

Nice
Our trip reminded us how lucky we are to live near a state that offers such great paddling and camping adventures like we had this weekend. We were rain free just cloudy, although we did have tarps ready if needed. A truck was left at the putin overnight but the location was hard to find. Supper around the fire was freeze dried stuff in a bag, venison on a stick with fire roasted corn and hot dogs. This crew of campers have been working together for years to offer great trips to the club.
River Facts: Very remote River not clear We recommended a water level of not less than 3.82' and 832 fps Trip took 24 hours Less than 8 hours of paddling Best cut in your own campsite, river left after 15 miles 24.9 miles total |
