You know it is December when it is time for the umpteenth annual Chilly Chili Run, the run so nice we say it twice!! A last chance for all you canoeist and kayakers "nuts? to get out for one last official trip before the end of the year.
We will gather at the CANOE CITY METROPARK starting around 11am and set up the area for our chili feast and get a fire going. After setup we will head up to Swift Metro park for the 3.6 mile flat water float back to Canoe City for the chili and other goodies.

Sure hope the weather is nice like it was on the 6th

Sweet Potatoe Chili

Ken and Cheryl are coming with sweet potatoe chili (all veggy). Possibly potatoe bread IF I can get to it later today.

Temp near 70 degree? How did that happen? Maybe someone should bring popsicles.

-Ken

Mark and I will be coming. We'll bring some desserts. Can't believe we'll be kayaking in 70 degree weather in December.
