Trumbull Canoe Trails - Children’s entry level

Hello, when I first started talking about the safety class there was some discussion about getting Grandkids and young kids on the water for the first time. My daughters and I will conduct an entry level instruction class on Saturday July 30th at the Pymatuning event. We will do this from 3-4 pm (or as much time is needed) this will be after the DCNR safety class and the picnic. We will have 2 8’ kayaks, some another kayaks, solo canoes, and tandem canoes available for use. We will show the kids safe entry and exit of boats and paddling strokes. If anyone would like to help feel free. So if you have any young children that you want to get them started in the water have them at Pymatuning at 3pm July 30th and we will see if we can light the fire for the joys of paddling.
