Connoquenessing Creek

Video I finally edited from Memorial Day Weekend. This is the first two sections of white water that runs threw Ellwood City PA. On this day we didn't run the last part.
Hope you enjoy and may encourage others to join us on this fun creek.

Nice Footage!

Wow! Looks like you hit it at a nice level, although it looked a little low for making it cleanly through the spot with the carnage. Was that Connie's Challenge? Is that the usual line through it? Appropriate musical accompaniment. Thanks for posting!

JP- the first video is Connie's Challenge, The rapid I flipped at was my own fault, there is a small chute to River Right and I missed it, the main path is River Left. I had Jason & Jessica go that way and they made it threw just fine.

All those boulders lining the shore make it look like somewhere out west. Looks beautiful. How far a drive is this? Is it too low to run in summer?

It's over in Ellwood City, PA.

You can watch the gauge online to see when it runs. It's been up quite a few times this summer.

The lower section of Slippery Rock Creek is much the same in character, and has also run a lot this summer (it's good to go right now as a matter of fact).
