Redbank Creek SummerVille-Hawthorn

Hello, Please plan on joining Trumbull Canoe Trails and the Noel Family for a great paddle on Redbank Creek. Saturday May 18th we will be paddling from Summerville to Hawthorn. This trip is just sort of 11 miles. See picture from guide book. This section has sweeping bends in a wide valley with 5 miles being in a 300ft Canyon. This has moved to the top of my list for most beautiful paddle scenery. Meet at the put in at 10am. We will shuttle then enjoy this great paddle. Camping is available at Clear Creek State park which I will probably take advantage of. Call or email with questions or to let me know if you are coming. 724-301-4751 dustinnoel@hotmail.com Thanks Dustin

Excited for Saturday
Hello, it seems like we are going to have a great turn out for Saturday as long as the rain stays away. I will be there rain or shine. As of tonight the water level is at 4.25’. The guide book calls for 3.8’ but Burt and I paddled it back in August at 3.6’ and it was fine. See you Saturday.

Thank you
Hello, we had a wonderful day on Red Bank Creek last Saturday. We had 19 boats with 21 paddlers come out to enjoy the day. We had 11 canoes and 8 kayaks. Water level was nice and the scenery was amazing. The trip turned out to be about 12.33 miles. We had lots of fellowship as I heard people talking all day. Everyone in this club looks out for each other and helps each other. It sure makes this an amazing group. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this a great day.
Thanks Dustin |
