I Heart Radio WKBN 570
 

Last night I had the privilege of joining Chuck Miller and Darren Weimer (instructor at Butler Community College /TCT past and hope future member) at the Radio Station in Youngstown.

We were guest on the Mahoning Valley Sportsman show on 570 am. The show runs from 7-8 am on Saturday Mornings.

We did it as prerecording that will air later in may.

We were asked to talk about the Mahoning River and Kayaking it
We had it split up, Darren covered Lawerance County, Chuck Mahoning County, and I covered Trumbull County.

All three gave nice description of the sections and all talked about safety, style of kayaks, put-in and other kayak related info.

It was a great opportunity for all three of us.
Darren was able to promote BC3 and classes
Chuck was able to get people aware of his Facebook page that is great for the Youngstown section of the Mahoning,
I was able to talk about the State Water Trail and TCT.

I am looking forward to hearing it.

On Saturday May 13th 570 am will be airing the Mahoning Valley Sportsman show from 7-8 am.
