Talking Misfits on Beaver Creek

Sunday March 14th, five of us made a short expedition on the north ranch of the Beaver Creek. With water temps in the low 40s and the water gage near 8 ft, we braved the furies of nature and tried the depths of our commitment to adventure. The fearless five (or the foolish five) started from Darlington?s polo field heading for route 154 at Negley. We were in and out of the water for about half way, pulling out at Watts Mills due to extenuating conditions and a previous arrangement with a cute girl (who would have been highly irate if Grandpa didn?t make her birthday party) The trip was an adventure, also an eye-opener and wake-up call for some. With an 80% dunk rate, some of us had an unforgettable introduction to mother nature. We?re looking forward to the Tionesta Creek trip and hope Nature deals us a better hand.
