And, in the endless tussle for the upper hand between canoes and kayaks, canoes were declared the winner by Ed Rigby.
This was thanks to the tie-breaking rules established by Ed himself. The Rigby rules state that when the number of canoes and kayaks are equal, then the cumulative length of all canoes versus the cumulative length of all kayaks on the trip determines the winner.
Paddlers were Burt Martin, Dustin Noel, Tom Smith, Jim Bozdog, Mark Vallecorsa, Stan Shiderly, Ed Rigby, and J.P. Tolson.
