Mark and I were so shocked to hear of Ron’s passing. He was always willing to help everyone have a great day on the water. He always teased me that he was going to buy my Necky kayak. I told him they would pry it out of my cold dead hands but I would leave it to him when they did. Mark really doesn’t like it. Ron also told me I could paddle faster than my kayak would go and to add sequences of glide between paddle strokes to get the speed. I’m not sure if I explained this right but it sure works. He will be missed greatly in the upcoming paddling season. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
