Notice of the passing of Tom McCloud, a paddler originally from Akron, was recently posted on Paddle Prattle, the message board (still in existence) of the now defunct Monocacy Canoe Club out of Frederick, Maryland. In that thread, another paddler posted a trip report, written by Tom, on a 320 mile trip that he and four other paddlers took in 2003 down the Petit Mecatina River in Quebec. Some might find it
