I put in at Eckert Bridge, which is off the dead end Cheeseman Road. If it's your first time there, you can drive the rough dead end all the way down to the bridge - even if it looks like you can't.
The take out is at Harris Bridge, on Mountville Road. This gives about 3.5 miles on the water.
Saw an immature bald eagle and mountain laurel blooming on the run on Sunday. What a great place.
