Well Ms. Donna, glad you ask. I thought it was a good day out. The temp may have hit 40, but with no wind it was comfortable. We had 17 people that made the paddle, and another 5 or 6 back at the Canoe City. I must say I was impressed with the new launch at Swift Park. Nice paved ramp and no more muddy feet getting in there. Hats off to Zac Svette with the Metro Park.
After the paddle we had bowl or two of chili and some other good stuff. I want to thank everyone who brought food and goodies to the Chilly run. Need to get the recipes for the sour cream cornbread squares and the pineapple carrot cake. Good stuff!
See you at the party in January!
Ed
