Yep
That is the only gauge. I paddle the grand slot. I have learned if you use 2.5ft as the minimal level you will be ok.
If it is 2.5 at gauge take 1ft off that to be close to the hidden valley bridge abutment gauge.
Anything lower you will be bumping and grinding and maybe walking
