Paddle Length-6 Miles
2-Class I Rapids
We will adventure down the Shenango river from West Middlesex to Pulaski PA. This six mile run will hopefully be right in the middle of the fall foliage for our color paddle.
This section of the Shenango has a nice current with 2 class I rapids and several little ripples. There is one turn were we will have to go single file due to a tree part way in the turn.
For anyone who doesn’t know the Shenango and Mahoning rivers are called sister rivers as they meet to form the Beaver River south of New Castle PA. The Shenango hasn’t been as industrialized has the Mahoning and offers great scenic views along the way.
Please post on the website on text me of you plan on attending 330-766-3129
