Default Slippery Rock Cr. Saturday

Been waiting for the flow to drop to friendly levels, and I think it's about there.

Gauge says 386 cfs now, dropping slowly, and a 25% chance of rain tonight. If they don't get significant rain and the gauge stays below 400 cfs I'd like to get on the creek.

Looking at easy class II at that level, about 3.5 miles. Plenty of mild waves, and 2 main rapids, which can be portaged. If you're just getting in to mild whitewater this would be a good trip for you. And it's warm enough that you won't need wetsuit or drytop for protection.

The weather is going to be in the 80's tomorrow, so it's going to be a wonderful day to get splashed by a couple of waves.

I'm not looking forward to hiking the shuttle, but will if I have to. Another paddler to set shuttle would be nice. Anyone interested in getting on the creek after lunch post up here, and I'll keep on checking.
