Default Mahoning River-Newton Falls

Mahoning River-Newton Falls Section
Trip Leader-Mike Danko

When-Sunday September 27th

Where- Rotary Park 1st Street Newton Falls, OH 44444 ( No exact address Corner of 1st St and Ticknor)

GPS 41.195742, -80.967949

Time 1pm

I originally didn't include this in the newsletter as I was debating what to do about this section. I haven't had time to make sure it was clear from foster park to rotary park, plus with covid I been sticking with up and backs.
We will put in above the dam and paddle towards downtown Newton Falls. We will get to pass under a couple of bridges and the second oldest cover bridge in Ohio. We will go far as we can before the current gets to hard to paddle against and head back.
I think total distance will be about a four mile paddle.
Afterwards if anyone would be interested there is a dairy queen in town we can stop at afterwards.

Please post on website if you plan on attending
Thanks
Mike
