This is truly a TCT classic that we haven't done in a long time (2012) and it is time to revisit Presque Isle.
We will meet at the Canoe & Boat Livery, from there we will launch into the Lagoon. We will paddle through the lagoon and come out by the Main Marina Fuel Station where we will stop for lunch.
At this point we usually break up into two groups; Group 1 head back through the lagoon to the put in/take out.
Group 2 adventures into the main bay and around Perry Monument and into Misery Bay back into the lagoons and meet at the put in/take out
This is a great trip if you like to ride bikes, swim at one of the beaches or take a nice hike after the paddle. Also Erie has a casino and Waldamer Park & Water world.
After the paddle I will be stopping at Joe Roots Grill on Peninsula dr. (we pass it on the way in and out of Presque Isle)
This past couple of years I have gotten to know Greg Kehn who lives in Lilly Dale New York. He has been to several club events but I still have never seen him in a boat. Starting to wonder if he really paddles?? Will he prove me wrong?? This is the second closes trip I know of two him. The other is Buckaloons in Warren PA.

Directions -Two Ways of getting there from Ohio
1-From Ohio- Take interstate 90 east in to PA
get of At St Rt 98/Avonia Rd
Turn Left on to St Rt 98
Turn right onto PA-5 / W Lake Rd
Turn Left on to Peninsula Dr. Just past a Applebee's
Follow Peninsula dr. all the way in to the park. The road will change name several times until to hit Thompson Rd
2-From Ohio or PA
Take Interstate 90 to Interstate 79 North
79 North to exit 182,
take ramp right and follow signs for US-20 West
Turn right onto PA-832 / Peninsula Dr (by Get go & Burger King)
Follow Peninsula dr. all the way in to the park. The road will change name several times until to hit Thompson Rd
