Default First Trip Casualty of the Season

TCT,
Thanks to a tip from club member Pete Milliken, I learned today that the Cuyahoga River near the Akron Wastewater Treatment Plant will soon be closed to paddling for an extended period for bridge work. This is between Cascade MetroPark and Bolanz Road that we had hoped to paddle this year. In addition, a section of Cascade MetroPark will be closed for most of the year because it will be a staging area for work to remove the Gorge Dam upriver. And the City of Akron will be working in the park to construct an interceptor tunnel.
See: https://www.summitmetroparks.org/sum...ks-alerts.aspx

So I am changing the section of the Cuyahoga River trip scheduled for June 25 to TBD while I consider other options.
