On a very rainy April 22nd 2023 the grand river hosted the Mad Hatter race from Harpersfield to Hidden valley metro park
At the start of the race the water level was 2.9 ft at the USGS gauge. At the end of the race the level rose to 4ft on USGS Gauge.
I was unable to paddle as I didn't enter in time but two of our club members did.

Jessica won the female solo kayak 30-39 division with a time of 1hr 32 minutes.
