What a great day on the shenango river. Temps in the 60's and a nice water level. USGS @ sharpsville was 2.53 ft.
We had 21 paddlers in 19 kayaks and 2 canoe.
Not much of a color run as the trees weren't changing yet.
We had 3 swimmers on the day, and I was one of them as I was practicing my cross bow draw and missed it.
We saw several water fowl and two bald eagles.
Thank to all who came. After the paddle a group of 12 met up at West Middlesex diner for good food and better company.
