Hello, It is time once again for the 16th annual Western PA Solo Canoe Rendezvous. It is held once again at Cooper's Lake Campground, 205 Currie Rd, Slippery Rock, PA 16057. The event will be May 31st, June 1st, and June 2nd. Saturday June 1st being the main event. I have recently started a new Canoe business Noel Canoe. I am working on manufacturing my own canoes but this is a slow process and I will only have one there that has many flaws. It was a great learning experience lol. I have also become a dealer for Slipstream watercraft, Red Feather Canoes, and Grey Owl paddles. I will have demo boats for people to try. Some of the canoes start at 12 pounds so if you are tired of picking up a heavy boat or at the age where paddling might be coming to an end due to the weight of your boat you must come out and check them out. Slipstream offers many pack boats that are an easy transition from a kayak. Red Feather offers some of the great Bell canoe solos that are just a joy to paddle.
