I thought I would try a different section of the mahoning for a trip. This is also a great trip for those who would like a shorter trip this time of year. We will take off from struthers and finish at the Beyond Corporation, LLC Boat Access Area in Hillsville PA. We will pass through Lowellville and we won't be stopping for lunch, maybe a quick stretch at lowellville. As we pass through Lowellville we will go through wing dam rapid a Class II rapid then around the island. May have a small portage around the island depending on water level.
