Planning Meeting 2020
2020 Planning Meeting
When- Sunday February 23rd Where- Sunrise Inn- 510 East Market St Warren, OH 44481 (Reservations are for 45-50 so please RSVP me.) GPS 41.23598, -80.811676 Time- 12 Noon-4 ish This meeting usually takes every minute we have and I want to start it as quickly as possible. Would love to start it no later than 12:45 Time to plan out our paddling season. This is the perfect time to come up with any new trips or return to trips we haven't done for several years. I personally would love to see a total of 6 trips on the Mahoning if not more, But that is just me. So many of the rivers we paddle have so many options. Greatest example is the Mahoning River. I have it broke down to 10 possible trips Starting at Foster Park and ending in New Castle PA. One section I love and will like to lead is the Youngstown Section of the Mahoning. It is 4.58 Miles and would make a great saturday summer evening Paddle. TCT has grown to be a regional club and travels to Cleveland, Erie, Pittsburgh and anywhere in-between so don't be afraid of leading a trip that has a little bit of traveling. Last year we adventured to Oil Creek in Titusville PA for the first time since I been in the club. If you have a trip you would like to see on the schedule and can't make the meeting please email me at tctnewsletter@gmail.com, mfdanko99@yahoo.com or text me 330-766-3129. We already have some events planned for 2020 April 25-26 Tionesta Creek, (Henery's Mill to Kellettvile PA) Primitive Camping-Trip Leader Jim Bozdog May 17th- Carson Landing-Mahoning River up and back Lin B trip leader May 30th -Paddle fest presented by Mahoning River Adventures.
