Shenango river info needed
I'm interested in running the Shenango River from Pymatuning Dam to Greenville.
Are there any particular's I should be aware of for that trip ? What should I expect ? I've never been on that river and will be taking a new padddler with me. Thx, Gonzo |

That area has traditionally been a bad one , with lots of downed trees. Had heard some were planning to clear it out, but don't know if its happened. And the wood keeps coming down as its narrow.
Better choice -- launch at Kidds Mill Bridge south of Greenville near Reynolds H.S. and paddle to Shenango Lake. Nice stretch. |
