Campsite
Our campsite will be at the mouth of Logan Run near Marienville. Do a search for Logan Falls Allegheny National Forest to see the beautiful images.

Your trip sounds wonderful! I would love to go, but there is a whitewater festival I am committed to instead. Please let me know how you like it; I might consider doing it this October or next spring. One question, is the $20 per boat shuttle fee based on a certain minimum number of boats or is that the flat rate? I saw where their website said a 2 boat minimum, but does the rate go down as the number of boats increases? Do you happen to know if there is any public access to the creek?
Have FUN! |

To bad you can't make it, May is the best month for this run. It would be better if you contacted Outback directly to answer you questions concerning their services.

Great trip!
Jim R, Mike D and myself had a very enjoyable weekend. It was one of the cleanest creeks I have seen. Best run 2' and over. We visited a old pump station building, a water falls and frog rock. The weather was perfect. Lots of trout fisherman.

Many thanks to "The Jims" (Reagle and Bozdog), very nice float indeed !
Jim R did a fine job establishing our shuttle, determining our route, picking our campsite, and cooking up some tasty deer meat and corn on the cob. The weather was fantastic, and the water flow kept us moving right along. Here is a link to the GPS tracking (overhead view of trip that includes the hike to the waterfall), it also has about 30 pictures as well. http://www.trimbleoutdoors.com/ViewT...e-44c79ef8c5e3 Thanks again to the Jims for including me. Great pictures, looks like a beautiful place to camp and "float". That's a pretty cool site with the locations of where the pictures were taken. Is that a free app for your phone? |
