Mahoning River Chilly Chili Run- Canoe City

When- Sunday December 11th

Where-Canoe City Metro Park 107 N Leavitt RD, Leavittsburg OH 44430

GPS 41.241135, -80.881393

Time-11 AM

You know it is December when it is time for the umpteenth annual Chilly Chili Run.

Last chance for all you canoeists and kayakers "nuts” to get out for one last official trip before the end of the year.

We will gather at the CANOE CITY METROPARK starting around 11am and set up the area for our chili feast and get a fire going. After setup we will head up to Swift Metro park for the 3.6-mile flat water paddle to Canoe City for the chili and other goodies.

Members are always welcome to do an up and back from Canoe City if they don't want to do the shuttle.

If the weather is rough we will do an up and back to Eagle creek from Canoe City

Hope to see a good turn out for a fun event.

We will have our fourth and final short meeting after the paddle.*

I forgot to put in the newsletter but more types of chili the better and snacks.
I will be bring chili.

Also if anyone would be willing to bring a little bit of wood I am also going to bring some. Please let me know

If you are able to bring a table to set up for the feast please let us know so we don't have enough or to many.

I will not be doing the campfire at the Chilly Runs as I no longer have a truck to haul wood.

Steve and I are bringing corn chips salsa and dip, and something for dessert. We can bring a folding table, extra chairs and our camping generator. Let us know what's needed.

I’ll be bringing hot apple cider with mulling spices. Can also bring a card table.
