other places
Some runs to consider that the club has not done before or we have not in awhile. Most of these are early spring runs but not all.
Oil Creek - Titusville to Petroleum Center Cuyahoga - Tannery Park to Waterwork Park Cuyahoga - Russell Park - easy up and back trip- year round Conneaut Creek - State Road covered bridge put in Tionesta Creek - Sheffeld or Lynch put in. French Creek - start in Cochranton Chagrin River - never been there, but heard a few good things Upper Clarion - Ridgeway start - good most of the year Lake Mogadore and Guilford Lake Connoquenssing - ask Debbie about that one There's a few ideas. Trip leaders needed

2012 possible kayaking outings
The Connoquenessing is a 2-3 a bit more than a flat water club should do as a club run or do it with the idea that we will have baptisms .
The Beaver river would make a nice run it is good in both high and low water and there is a new launch below New Castle. I think it could be fun to do the Cuyahoga river though the park using the train to shuttle the boats upstream the train ride cost 3$ for you and your boat. |

Cuyahoga - Tannery Park to Waterwork Park
As a proud Kent State grad, I'd love to lead this. Ran it August 2010 and am slated to go along w/Kent class in April. But bc of busyness of working at park, esp. during warm months, I have a hard time pinning down a weekend so far in advance.
To Mike: My November in Newport will likely be on Saturday, not Sunday. |

Hey Ray, can us old folk go along in April with you ? That way you can lead a trip without really leading!! Just tell us when. And thanks for doing the Newport Lake trip.

Can't make it today, but put me down for leading the Presque Isle trip any weekend in September. Also, I would be glad to lead a Conneaut Creek trip any time before mid May (water levels are generally too low after that date) or French Creek between Cambridge Springs and Saegertown which can be run just about anytime.
