MetroParks Focus Groups - December 20 & 21

My park colleague Linda Kostka asked me to spread the word about this. She likes the idea of inviting kayakers and canoeists. Will see some of you at Chili Run. Thanx! raynovotny@yahoo.com

Mill Creek MetroParks is undertaking a comprehensive strategic planning process that will guide the decision-making for the future development of our parks, trails, recreation and open space opportunities for the next 10 years. PROS Consulting, a nationally recognized management consulting firm, will be directing the activities of this work and leading us through the planning process.

As part of this work, we will be conducting nine community stakeholder / focus group meetings on December 20 and December 21, 2011. Your input is critical, and we sincerely hope you will find the time to share your thoughts and ideas with us. Hikers, cyclists, businesses, young professionals and non-profit organizations are just some of the representative groups that will be participating.

All meetings will be held at the MetroParks Farm*, McMahon Hall, Classroom A.

Your response to this invitation is extremely important. Please let us know if you will be attending by contacting Linda Kostka by phone at 330-702-3000, or by emailing Linda@MillCreekMetroParks.org within the week.
