Grand River- Harpersfield to Hidden Valley Trip Leader Rich Klasen

When-October 18th

Where- Hidden Valley Park 4968 Klasen Rd, Madison, OH 44057

GPS 41.740844,-81.049124

Time- 11AM

This a great paddle that we usually do in the spring. We will try it in the fall and see how it goes.
For those who would like to drop off gear and passengers at Harpersfield put in would be a great help for the shuttle. The park address in harpersfield is-
(1163 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH 44041) North side of river.
Then the drivers will meet at hidden valley park at 11am.
This is about a 8 mile paddle with some class 1 + rapids.
Rich also has a surprise for us below county line rd bridge.

The Month of October hasn't had the normal rain fall. According to WKBN we are very dry for the month of October.
With that we must cancel the Grand River Trip.
I been talking to Rich K the last tow days and the water level is VERY LOW. Be low the summer level.

I might put together a side trip on the Mahoning, either downtown Y-town, or Lowellville to edinburg

Not sure if any one would want to paddle those sections or not?
