Question about Canoe City
can anyone tell me if the Mahoning River is good to go from Swift Park to Canoe City. If so we may have a small group padding that tomorrow afternoon if any is interested in joining us.
Thanks Lou |

Do you know if they have fixed the put-in at Swift Park yet? As of last year, the location you put in your kayak was knee deep with muck. I was told by a park official that it would be fixed.

Not yet, they have got the grant to add 2 new ramps and will be starting soon.
What happen last year with the muck shows how low the river was. At normal levels it should be at or just covering the lowest step, to avoid the muck. Mike Danko |
