I sent in an email of support when I first saw the article and got a nice return email.
I also sent links to are you tube video's of Marshall Street Bridge Rapid/Dam.

The study will consider the effects of moving it, and leaving it since it is a safe rapid. If it stays the study will look at cleaning behind it and making a second passage far river left.
That is the response I got from city counsel.

City Counsel was very impressed and happy to see the rapid/dam being used and as I called it the highlight water feature of Youngstown.
