Aaron,
Best bet is to check with Rich Klasen by sending a personal message to clipper1, his name on this board. Rich lives right on the Grand. When the club paddled from Harpersfield to Hidden Valley Park earlier this year, the Painesville gage was 1.84 ft, which was near paddling zero. Rich said that parts of the river below Hidden Valley Park would have been too scrapy to be enjoyable at that level. jp Last edited by JPTolson; 07-25-2012 at 06:07 PM. |

Grand River water levels
Sorry Aaron it took me so long to get to your Post. The Grand resembles a small creek at this point, a full foot below summer levels at the gauge at hidden Valley. We would need a solid week of rain before I would consider it paddleable, will keep all informed if it even gets close to a reasonable level.
