Default Keeping the kayaks warm.

My project to make custom kayak racks for our 8'-3" high Promaster van got stalled last fall by a series of major "events" and cold weather. I got as far as new rails, crossbars and getting the Hullavators mounted and working. As I suspected though, the cradles supplied with the Hullivators are a terrible fit for our boats. I will need to make some custom cradles to insure a secure mounting.

Too cold now to work in the garage! I need to get dimensions of the curvature of kayak and the angle of the chines in order to even make a prototype. I have resorted to a temporary workspace on the living room floor. Makes a good conversation piece. Gotta hurry now... only have a couple of months before the ice melts. --KenM
