Default October 28 Mahoning River trip

TRIP HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO ANOTHER DAY!!!!

Hello all,

I am hoping this years trip on the mahoning will be as warm as last years! There are some small rapids on this section and last year we did have our share of swimmers. We will try to avoid that this year, but as a precaution make sure and bring a set of spare clothes. We will stop for a small lunch break somewhere in the middle.

Call/email/post who will be coming along. See ya there

Question

Wanted to ask or see what you thought of this jonathan and chuck.

If the weather is bad and cold and rainy, would you want to shorten the trip to maybe church hill rd bridge.

Since I have a feeling we might have a small turn out, and not all the officers having a meeting might not happen at lunch, so I will try to get with the other officers to schedule a meeting a a neutral location or if someone would like to host one. We need to have one more meeting before the years ends.
I will post more about when I have more information

Mike,

As far as attendance of officers, I plan to be on the trip Sunday.

As of right now we have about 6 confirmed. I'm fine shorting it up if it is going rain all day. We can decide sunday based on current weather conditions. Anybody else have an opinion.

It looks like a 70% of rain and 45, which equals a bad day. You think we should cancel?

Thumbs up Loaded and Ready.

I have 3 boats loaded and ready. I will have the red van for shuttle drivers if needed. Got to love Pa/Ohio weather. LOL PS: Go Penn State!

Default Trip postponed!!

Ok, last update.

We are going to postpone the trip. We will shoot for a weekend with no rain sometime this month or next. I will post when the re-scheduled trip will occur.

I'm sure a couple die-hards might still want to go, so feel welcome to post an unofficial trip. I personally would rather kayak in the 30's and snow then be 45,rain,15mph wind. Everyone have a good weekend and sorry for any inconvenience.
