Default River cleanup

Last week my friend Rodney and I tried to clear out a path from Foster Park to Newton Falls. We got most of the way down because the high water this spring washed most of the log jams away. when we were about 2/3's of the way down we came upon a solid wall of downed trees and turned back. So there will be no foster Park run this year.
This past weekend Mike and I went From Rotary Park on First street in Newton Falls down to the baseball fields in LaBrea, where Route 82 Meets Route 5. It took all day and we cleared out a bunch of log jams, but we got through and this will be our run at the end of August.
I want to thank Mike for all his help I couldn't have done it without him.

John and Mike,

Thanks so much for all the hard work clearing a route through all the wood across the upper Mahoning. I'm looking forward to the trip at the end of the month.
