Default Kellettville to Nebraska Bridge Tionesta River paddle

We have not done this run before and have a few questions.

Is this part of the river floatable this time of the year (Aug/Sept)?
Is there an easy place to put in at Kellettville?

The club did this run on March 27, 2010 when the average flow for that day was about 850 cfs at the USGS gage at Tionesta Creek dam. I estimate that flow was about two to three inches above paddling zero, the level below which a boater will be doing a fair amount of walking, not paddling. Today's most recent flow was 134 cfs according to the USGS gage at Tionesta Creek dam, so the creek is likely to be too low to enjoy paddling at the current flow rate. However, I do not know whether the gage is above or below the dam (my guess is below judging from the hydrograph), and there is always a small chance that flow conditions might be different upstream of the dam. It might be best to call the Pittsburgh office of the Army Corps of Engineers.

Yes, there is an easy put in at the US Army Corps of Engineers campground at the bridge in Kellettville.

Someone who is more familiar with Tionesta may want to chime in as that was my only time on that stretch of the creek.
