Thumbs up Conewango Creek PA

Jessica & I traveled to Warren, PA for the weekend. Our goal was to paddle a new creek.
We got to paddle the Conewango Creek.
We used Conewango Kayak Canoe, LLC 9582 U.S. 62, Russell, PA 16345
For our shuttle and got a good break down of the creek during the shuttle.

We started 1 mile into New York State to Point View Park in Warren, PA. Total of 14 Miles.
The first 5 miles are VERY FLATT and slow moving. Once we hit downtown Russell PA it turned into a completely different river. Nice current with many class I ripples. Very scenic river with many water fowl and 6 pair of bald eagles on this river. We saw on set about 3/4 into our trip.

The outfitter has a spot for car camping and we talked about the club. They would love to have us come up and stay the night and paddle.

USGS 2.40 ft Very Low level but floatable.
About 270 cfs

Maybe Next year ?

Got some pictures loaded
