Default French Creek-May 6th

We will paddle beautiful French Creek on May 6th. Meet at the F&BC boat launch on Elk St. in Franklin Pa. Be there by 11am. We will take as few vehicles as possible up to Utica to start the 11 mile trip. This trip generally takes about 4hrs., pack a lunch and come prepared for the conditions.
Like the other runs this year, we will need to keep an eye on the water level. We will need at least 2.2ft+ level to go. It is over 3ft right now.
Please give me a call or email if you plan on going.

I'll have my trailer, I could use another one.

Looks like we should have above average water levels for the first time this year on French Creek. Near 5ft level right now. Calling for 70's and sunny too. Nice day for a paddle.
Let me know if you plan on going.

Please be there before 11am. I hope to leave for the shuttle up to Utica shortly after that. Water level should be about 4.5ft.

I thought this year's French Creek trip had many of the qualities of 'it doesn't get any better than this': Weather (superb), water level (perfect), wildlife (enough to make it interesting). Many thanks to Ed for leading the trip through the braided riverbed of myriad channels around many islands that makes this part of French Creek especially fun.
