Default New Mahoning R. boat ramps

At the Metroparks meeting last night Zach said that the new ramps are moving along as expected.

That should mean new launch ramps at Foster Park and Swift Park by the end of October!

Just got a call from Zach - the new launch ramps at Swift Park and Foster Park are now complete and ready to use!

I'll try to get out and get some photos this weekend.

I took some photos of the new ramps - they look really nice.

Hope this link works:

Talking

On Sunday Evening I went down to Swift park and paddle up and back with a total of 4 miles.
The new ramp is great and very nice.

I ran in to 4 other people paddling. Two were in a canoe and they told me two portages, one before mile mark 7 and right before mile marker 11.

The other two were paddling the same up and back section as I was.
Nice little paddle on the mahoning. Again the new ramp is great, will post pictures when I can.

Maybe this will work a little better:

(fingers crossed)

EDIT: Or NOT. Apparently Snapfish won't let you look at pics unless you have an account. I give up.
