I went to the Lawrence County site and clicked on both launch site tabs and saw that a link to the TCT website was on both! Don't know how you got that done, but way to go Mike.

Default Shoulder's good and we're coming

We plan on coming short of a monsoon or thunderstorm. See you at noon.

Last year's shoulder surgery was a success and we're ready to go.

What a great trip for the club's opening day of paddling season with temps in the 60s and rain holding off until well after we were off the river! Many thanks to Mike Danko for organizing and leading the trip and to Bob Danko and Jody Vallecorsa for shuttling everyone. I think there were 21 paddlers in 19 boats–five canoes and 14 kayaks–with one paddler, whose identity will remain sealed, having an "out of boat" experience. What happens on the Shenango, stays on the Shenango! The upriver gage at Sharpsville, PA, was around 494 cfs and 3.02 ft, and this seemed to be a good medium level. About half the group went to Edward's in New Castle after the trip to swap paddling stories and have a bite to eat. It was a great day to be on the river.
