Default Paddling Fatality in Western PA

TCT,

Very sad story about a paddler who drowned over the weekend while canoeing Mahoning Creek in Armstrong County, PA and a missing kayaker on the Yough.

I just read the article and this definitely reinforces the need to keep the life preserver ON even when it is not so comfortable. This even compels me to invest in head gear, or at least a bicycle helmet.

The body of the missing kayaker on the Yough that the article mentioned, was found last weekend.
