Default Shenango River Reservoir

Shenango River Reservoir (Evening Paddle)
Hartford Launch (No Shuttle)

Trip Leader-Mike Danko

When-Saturday June 27th

Where- Hartford Landing, Hartford Rd Sharpsville, PA 16150 (No Official number address)

41.309850, -80.477018
Time 5 pm

Usually we do all Sunday paddles, and I thought it would be nice to switch it up to a nice Saturday evening paddle. Last time I can find that TCT was on Shenango River Reservoir was 2009. I think it is time to revisit this reservoir for a nice paddle with no shuttles to help practice social distancing.

Stay on hartford rd for 2 miles.
There will be a V in the road were Hartford Road veers to the right.
continue straight to enter Hartford Boat Launch Area

Thanks Mike

Default Review

The weather was looking sketchy during the day, but once we hit the water it was a beautiful evening on Shenango River Reservoir.
We had 13 paddlers in 12 boats and 1 k9. (10 Kayaks, 2 Canoe's.)We paddled up to the railroad bridge by parkers landing then headed around the islands to chestnut run beach for a nice break. Several of us jumped in and cooled off. Then we headed back to Hartford launch.
We paddled a total 4.12 Miles in 2.5 hours.Great trip with Great company

Mike
