Default Kayak full/canoe 3 slots

DCNR had an instructor cancel for Saturday for the Kayak class. So this limits the participants from 15 down to 10. As of now I had 10 kayakers signed up so the Kayak class is full. I did have one kayaker who could be persuaded to switch to a Canoe if someone is desperately wanting the class. I also have two other kayakers that would forfeit their spots if there are people who need it more. There are three canoe slots still available.

Default "camping"

fwiw... K & C will be at group camp sometime late afternoon Friday. We have a high top camper van so will "camp" where ever we find a parking spot along the drive. Anyone else camping Friday?

Default Oh Boy - food and music

This will be great... Fresh caught Walleye cooked on a fire AND campfire songs with a Baritone accompaniment. The neighbors will love it.

Default Excellent Safety Class!

Many, many thanks to Dustin Noel for organizing the safety class. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable, and it was really helpful to practice in-water rescues and boat re-entry. I learned some very helpful lessons and techniques that I was not previously aware of.

Default Thank you.

Thank you everyone who came out. I really enjoyed it and was happy to see so many people learning. The instructors really had fun too. They said everyone was so nice and eager to learn. I think one is even going to join the club. Very cool day. Thank you.
