Default April 2nd and 3rd

I'd like to do the Tionesta creek run on the 2nd, but a friend told me that is the first day of trout fishing in Pa. I made that mistake one year on Pine Creek and it wasn't fun.
Any word what might be done on the 3rd. Maybe something in Ohio?

Default Trout day on the Tionesta

I did the overnight on the Tionesta twice on the first day. I expected we would have a contest to see who collected the most lures.

I did not think it was bad at all. Just a few areas around cabins or near a bridge where there was more fishing access had a cluster of anglers to avoid. Just had to yell out a couple of times to let then know we were coming thru. Then again... I didn't ask Jimbo how many lines he took out ahead of me. --Ken
